Hotel Cafe Royale in London has announced that they will be re-opening a David Bowie-themed cocktail bar shortly. The music icon was famous for his alien alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust, who was born out of his 1973 hit album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Bowie embarked on many tours in promotion of the same as Ziggy Stardust, and finally, put him to rest at a large dinner party held at the same cafe back in 1973. Dubbed The Last Supper, the party hosted many A-listers such as Mick Jagger and Lou Reed, among others. Now, two years after his death, the hotel is honoring him by opening a permanent cocktail room next to the Laurent restaurant. The bar will offer several Bowie-inspired drinks and will showcase a large collection of photos of Bowie from his 1973 tours as Stardust, taken by photographer Mick Rock. Set to launch on September 20, the bar will serve drinks between 5 PM and 1 AM between Monday and Saturday. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
