U2 were forced to call it quits during their recent show in Berlin after lead singer, Bono lost his voice during the performance. “I’ve lost my voice, and I don’t know what to do, because I was singing like a bird about 10 minutes ago…I’m sure it will pass,” he remarked to the audience during the rendition of their 2017 hit, “Red Flag Day.” Later, when he attempted to sing one of their older tunes, “Beautiful Day,” he was forced to stop abruptly and headed backstage to have the issue corrected, but after a few minutes, the band was forced to announce that the show would have to stop there. “I think we can’t go on. It’s not right for you,” said Bono to a hugely disappointed but understanding crowd. In a recent statement, the band announced that “anything serious has been ruled out” and that they would be back to play in Berlin on November 13.
