Long Strange Trip, a 2017 documentary about the rock band Grateful Dead, will be released in multiple formats on November 9. Directed by award-winning documentary filmmaker Amir Bar-Lev, the film features the band’s formation and evolution, never before seen performance footage, vintage interviews and conversations with Grateful Dead’s surviving members – Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, and Bob Weir. Martin Scorsese executive produced the four-hour film. It will be available in double-DVD, Blu-ray and Deluxe Edition formats. The Deluxe Edition, which will include two live performances from 1989, is limited to 6,500 copies each on DVD and Blu-ray.
