Bruce Springsteen and a group of top comedians and musical artists are set to headline this year’s Stand Up for Heroes comedy fundraiser. Jon Stewart, Jim Gaffigan, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Carr and Eric Church will also headline the event. Proceeds from the show will go to veterans and their families impacted by the 9/11 attacks, and to support the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF). Stand Up for Heroes, termed as a night of hope, healing and laughter, is presented by BWF and the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), with sponsorship from Veterans on Wall Street, GFI Group Inc., the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation and Craig Newmark Philanthropies. The event, part of the New York Comedy Festival, will be held at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 5.
