Dave Davies, a founding member of The Kinks, has released a new video from his upcoming album Decade, a new collection of unreleased songs recorded in the 1970’s. The previously unheard track, “This Precious Time (Long Lonely Road),” was recorded in 1978-79. It is the third track that Davies has released from Decade, after “Cradle To The Grave” and “Same Old Blues.” Davies will drop Decade on October 12. It comes amid reports that The Kinks may be regrouping. Davies said in a press release that “This Precious Time” was a song that was special to him. “It’s great to finally be able to hear it as I’d originally envisaged.
