Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack has risen to No. 3 on the charts, according to Billboard. This gives the band its highest chart placing in 38 years, driven by the popularity of the Freddie Mercury biopic. The Bohemian Rhapsody film soundtrack rose from 25th position to 3rd on the Billboard 200 chart with 59,000 units, according to Nielsen Music. Album sales comprised 24,000, up 182 percent. Bohemian Rhapsody, the movie, enjoyed an opening weekend collection of $51 million, higher than expected. It also made $31 million in its second weekend. The movie is now the third-highest grossing music biopic of all time and is expected to surpass Straight Outta Compton, which took $161 million in the U.S. in 2015 to take the top spot. The band’s Greatest Hits I II & III: The Platinum Collection also jumped from 194 position to 9th. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
