ZZ Top have announced plans to embark on a UK and European tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard announced dates of three shows, with further tour dates and locations to be revealed soon. ZZ Top will first perform on June 19 at Prague Rocks, Czech Republic, then on July 5 at Barcelona Rock Fest in Spain and on July 12 at London’s SSE Arena Wembley. Jimmy Barnes will support in London. Tickets for the dates will go on sale on November 16 at 10am GMT. Billy Gibbons said: “It’s been 50 years, and I think we’re starting to get pretty good! We’re just as excited to play Barcelona this summer as we were to play Beaumont, Texas, back in 1969.
