Bono along with Chris Rock, Will Ferrell, Kristen Bell, Channing Tatum, Snoop Dogg, Mila Kunis, and Pharrell are set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live’s special Red benefit show. Jimmy Kimmel Live will be airing its 4th annual (RED) benefit show on Monday, November 19, in honor of World AIDS Day on December 1. The special show will also feature a RED Shopathon, which will showcase many RED products to raise money and awareness for the fight against AIDS. Earlier this month, Bono had thanked the U.S. Congress for ignoring President Donald Trump’s call to cut hundreds of millions from U.S. funding for AIDS programs. The U2 frontman was quoted as saying that members of Congress “have so far turned down this president’s request to cut AIDS funding – right and left in lockstep together on this.” Bono says it is unfortunate that at a time “incredible leadership from around the world” is taking effort to eliminate the disease, “people are looking the other way, and it’s just the wrong moment.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
