Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters has used his private jet to reunite a mother with her children, who were kidnapped and taken to Syria by their father four years ago. Abebe Oboi Ferreira, an Islamic State fighter from Trinidad and Tobago, took his children to live in the terrorist outfit’s self-proclaimed caliphate in Raqqa in 2014. After he was killed during a fight, his new wife abandoned the children on the roadside. The boys – Ayyub, 7, and Mahmud, 11, were rescued by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces and taken to a refugee camp in northern Syria. It was Waters’ friend Clive Stafford-Smith, a lawyer and rights activist, who helped track down the children’s mother Felicia Perkins-Ferreira. He contacted Waters, and apprised the singer of their plight. “[Roger] agreed to pay for it all and flew the mother over from Trinidad.
