Guitarist Keith Richards has said the Rolling Stones plan to hit the studio before their U.S. Tour to record what will be the band’s first album of original material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang. In between came one studio album: 2016 covers record Blue & Lonesome. “I’m preparing more than anything else, putting material together,” Richards told Rolling Stone about the upcoming recording sessions. “Sometimes it’s not as much writing as listening to what’s been written and figuring it out, and honing and all kinds of stuff. It’s very boring. It’s like a carpentry shop,” he added. He said the band will first spend about a week in the studio prior to the U.S. leg of their No Filter Tour, which kicks off on April 20 in Miami Gardens, Florida. He added that to play back in the United States again is fantastic. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
