Multi-faceted artist David Byrne is among the featured speakers that South by Southwest (SXSW) has announced for its annual conference/festival in Austin, Texas. Five other celebrities were selected as keynotes, including former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives John Boehner, Adam Horovitz and Michael Diamond of the Beastie Boys, award-winning producer, musician, and songwriter T Bone Burnett, and Recode co-founder and editor-at-large Kara Swisher. “We’re fortunate to bring together a diverse group of creative thinkers and leaders to share their perspectives,” said Hugh Forrest, SXSW Chief Programming Officer.
