Sammy Hagar has revealed the lineup for the sixth annual edition of the Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit concert. The concert will feature performances by Hagar and his current band The Circle, The Doobie Brothers’ Tom Johnston, Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson, Rick Springfield and more. Other artists to perform include Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, Americana artist Lukas Nelson and rock-guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, who plays with Hagar in the supergroup Chickenfoot. The Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit concert, which Hagar co-founded with Metallica’s James Hetfield in 2014, is scheduled for May 15 at the Fillmore in San Francisco. The concert raises funds for and awareness of the pediatric cancer program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m. PT via LiveNation.com. Each ticket will come with a CD copy of Hagar & The Circle’s upcoming studio album, Space Between, which will be released on May 10. “For me, each year is better than the next. This year’s lineup (as usual) is eclectic and packed with talent,” said Hagar. He added, “I’m so looking forward to being part of the chemistry of all these artists being in the same room for the night and creating something very unique, for those special music fans that support this impactful event each year.” Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com.
