A number of artists who performed at the original Woodstock festival in 1969 are returning to the Woodstock 50th anniversary festival to be held August 16-18. Those who are also appearing in 2019 include Santana, John Fogerty, John Sebastian, David Crosby, Hot Tuna, Canned Heat and Country Joe McDonald. Jay-Z, Dead & Company, The Killers, Chance the Rapper, The Black Keys, Robert Plant, Halsey and Miley Cyrus will headline at the 50th anniversary celebration in Watkins Glen, New York. “We are thrilled with all the excitement about Woodstock 50, but we have an obligation to our fans, artists and partners, to do things the right way,” festival organizer Michael Lang said in a statement.
