Vans reportedly plans to release a series of David Bowie-inspired limited-edition sneakers honoring the late rock icon. Each design will be based on a theme from a classic Bowie album and available in stores beginning April 4. The designs – the Slip-On 47 V DX, Old Skool, Era, and Sk8-Hi, will pay tribute to some of Bowie’s most beloved albums such as Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Space Oddity, and Diamond Dogs. Different images of various designs of the shoes have been displayed on social media. Official images and details about the Bowie collection will be announced soon, ABC Radio reported, quoting a rep for Vans. Vans previously debuted the Vans X Led Zeppelin collection in February.
