Perla Ferrar, the former wife of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, is auctioning off personal items from their 14 years of marriage. Julien’s Auctions announced the collection from Slash and Perla’s Beverly Hills estate will be part of next month’s Music Icons auction. “Get ready for it, rockers – a collection of fantastic memorabilia from the life of Slash and Perla Hudson,” the auctioneers said in a statement. Julien’s Auctions say the items comes directly from their personal possessions and range in date from the early 1980s, when Slash was still a struggling musician, to the late 1990s, when he was an established rock star. The items in the collection include Slash’s t-shirts, numerous leather belts, significant music awards, RIAA gold record awards, unique and gothic-like furniture from his home, and a single top hat. The auction will also feature some of the couple’s wedding items, including Perla’s beaded and sequin top hat wedding veil and their wedding cake topper. The auction will take place online and at New York’s Hard Rock Cafe on May 17 and 18. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Youth Emerging Stronger charity. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com.
