Nowhere Boy, the 2009 biopic about John Lennon’s teenage years, is reportedly being developed as a stage musical. Producers Brian and Dayna Lee of AF Creative Media and Robyn Goodman and Josh Fiedler of Aged in Woo have acquired the rights to develop the film as a stage musical, Deadline reported. “We’ve just secured the rights of the film, and as a team we’ll be traveling to London this summer, trying to figure out the right person to bring this narrative to life,” Brian Lee said. The musical will focus on Lennon and the two women who played important roles in the Beatle’s life: Julia Lennon and her older sister Mimi Smith. A Nowhere Boy stage musical would not include Beatles songs but would utilize rock and roll hits of the late 1950s, Deadline reports. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
