Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood says singer and frontman Mick Jagger is “doing really well” after his recent heart surgery. Wood said he and his band mate Keith Richards are helping cheer up Jagger as he recovers. Speaking with Hello Magazine, Wood said, “Sally [Wood’s wife] and I went on a break to the Caribbean with Keith [Richards] and [his wife] Patti and sent him videos of us playing and singing get well songs on the guitar.” “That cracked him up. We’re all so pleased that he’s doing well,” he added. “I spoke to him yesterday and he’s feeling great.” The Rolling Stones were forced to postpone some North American dates of their No Filter tour after Jagger underwent heart valve replacement surgery.
