Forest Hills Stadium on Monday unveiled its 2019 concert and event lineup, which includes Greta Van Fleet, The Lumineers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, and more. The concert season will begin on May 25 with Greta Van Fleet, while The Lumineers are set to perform on June 22. The summer schedule at the historic venue in Queen’s Forest Hills neighborhood features a mix of 16 concerts, music festivals and family events. “This year, what’s cool is that we have two bands, Interpol and Nathaniel Rateliff, who each sold out the stadium on their own last summer, coming back and playing with heroes of theirs. Nathaniel with Willie Nelson and Interpol with Morrissey,” said Mike Luba, partner in Madison House Presents, the concert promoter at the stadium. Speaking about the venue, Luba said, “New York is blessed with competitive venues across the city, from The Garden to Barclays to Central Park. The artists have a lot of choices.
