Neil Young has announced that Tuscaloosa, his new archival live album from the Time Fades Away tour, will be released on June 7. The new album is based on a concert he played with the Stray Gators at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on February 5, 1973, but the 11-track LP is shorter than the original performance because the show tape didn’t capture the whole thing, says Young’s engineer John Hanlon. The album will be released as a single CD and a three-sided vinyl album with etched artwork on side four.
