Shortly following the release of his wildly successful memoir, Backstage Pass, Paul Stanley has announced that he is working on a bold new solo album. “SOUL STATION ALBUM VOCALS yesterday. Classic old tunes and new. This is really AWESOME,” the founding member of KISS posted on Instagram alongside a picture of himself at the studio. As for his book, Paul writes: “THANK YOU and if you don’t already have it, pick it up. I wrote it for you.” The book sold north of 11,000 copies within its first week of release alone. Released by HarperOne on April 30, the book is the follow-up to Stanley’s 2014 memoir, “Face The Music: A Life Exposed” which debuted at No. 2 on the New York Times’ Bestsellers list. Stanley described it as “an approach to being healthier in mind and body, to having a more fulfilled and rewarding life.” “I’m certainly not preaching to people and telling people, ‘Do this,’ but I think people can get some insight into what’s possible for them by seeing what I’ve done,” he added.
