What’s in your yearbook?

It is the time of year when high school seniors across the country are finishing their public education, and looking forward to the rest of their lives.
Before they go, the seniors will keep the time-honored tradition of signing each others’ yearbooks. The book will keep a final record, for good or for awkward, with their friends before parting ways.
Do you remember what is in your high school yearbook?
Do you even remember how long ago you graduated high school?
On Twitter, people are sharing what their can be found in their yearbooks.
Maybe your yearbook is full of bad hair.

Forgive yourself. You didn’t know any better. Teens make mistakes.

The yearbook contains plenty of those “Most likely too …” that rarely come true.

Extra credit is available if you can remember who that “Dave” or “Rachel” is who signed your book.

Some people peak in high school. But not you. You are a flower that bloomed late but bloomed brightly.

Speaking of blooming in high school, talented photographers were once part of the yearbook staff. That is not to say they were talented when they were teenagers.

The yearbook is also how we unfriended people before there was Facebook.

For many of us, we aren’t all that different today than we were a couple decades ago. We are just smarter, more mature, and grayer.

There is a reason why we don’t open the book of memories too often. Too many embarrassing memories, bad memories, or memories best left buried.
