Robert Plant and his band The Sensational Space Shifters will headline this year’s CityFolk music festival during their upcoming North American tour. Their performance is set for the final night of the festival, on September 15, in Lansdowne Park, Ottawa. Singer-songwriters Tim Baker of Hey Rosetta! and Lucy Dacus as well as rapper Saul Williams will reportedly join them. Soul singer Leon Bridges is also scheduled to perform at the festival along with Our Lady Peace, Live and Bush. The CityFolk festival appearance is the second date on Plant’s North American tour schedule, which kicks off with a performance at the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Plant, the lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Led Zeppelin, and The Sensational Space Shifters are scheduled to tour Scandinavia in June and July. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com.
