When there’s something strange in the neighborhood, who you gonna call?  ..  ANT MAN!  Wait..  No..

But actually, YES!  Well.  Paul Rudd, anyway.  The actor who brought Ant Man to life on the big screen (heh!) has announced that he’s joining the cast for the upcoming Ghostbusters film directed by Jason Reitman.  The son of original GB and GBII director, Ivan Reitman.

None of us were in the movie, but be honest, you would TOTALLY hang out with us.

Rudd gave the word that he is joining the cast of Jason Reitman’s upcoming Ghostbusters film,  Which will have no connection to the 2016 reboot.  But will rather be a third installment of the GB franchise.  Rudd hit YouTube with a message outside of the original firehouse that was used as the team’s headquarters. Admitting he almost “slimed” himself when his agent asked him about taking on the role of a “semi-young, strapping man” in the film, Rudd said he’ll be there this fall when filming begins.

I’ll admit, I love Paul Rudd’s sense of humor, and I think he’ll be a perfect fit!
