Firefighters in Menomonie, Wisconsin are helpfully trying to find the owner of some lingerie.

It could be, however, that the firefighters are the rightful owners.

The mystery began when an unexpected Amazon shipment appeared at the fire station in Menomonie.

The shipping label directed the package to that fire station in that city of Wisconsin.

The label did not include a sender. The box contained no receipt.

Did a secret admirer send it to the fire station or was it a misdirected package?

That’s what the firefighters in Menomonie would like to know.

On the firefighters’ Facebook page, they offered a statement on the mysterious lingerie.

With a blend of duty and humor, the firefighters say that “On one hand we are unable to accept gratuities, and on the other it most likely will not fit any of our personnel.”

The Facebook post includes a picture of the surprise package. The firefighters say that if the package was mistakenly sent, the sender can feel free to come pick up their Amazon order.
