Eddie Money Has Died.

Eddie Money’s family issued a statement this morning confirming that Eddie has passed away at the age of 70.

Eddie Money died Friday morning as a result of state 4 esophageal cancer, “The Money Family regrets to announce that Eddie passed away peacefully early this morning. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving husband and father. We cannot imagine our world without him. We are grateful that he will live on forever through his music.”

Money, who is best known for “Take Me Home Tonight”, Shakin’, and “Two Tickets To Paradise”,  only learned of his cancer last year during a routine checkup with his doctor, and was discussed don his reality TV show “Real Money”
