Is INXS getting ready for another tour?

The band hasn’t toured since 2012, but a tweet sent out by the group is hinting at something.

Formed in 1977 in Australia, the band eventually morphed into a new wave/punk rock group.

The band’s production became less consistent after its main lyricist and writer died in 1997.

The lost singer, Michael Hutchence, was the subject of a documentary, Mystify, released earlier this year.

The opportunity for a tour seemed beyond reach after the band’s guitarist, Tim Farriss, severely injured his hand in a boating accident.

Farris has said that the injury meant the end of his musical career.

Fans of INXS have been waiting, and the band “says they are back.”
