Ozzy Osbourne’s health has been at the center of the music industry for years.

The Black Sabbath icon is nevertheless strong enough to complete a new album, due out in January.

His wife, Sharon, went to bat for him in a SiriusXM interview.

“He had a very, very bad accident this year, but he’s getting there,” she says.

Ozzy has not simply recovered, he has worked through his challenges to give life to this album.

Sharon says that Ozzy watched documentary footage of his band on tour. This view brought him to tears, Sharon says.

Ozzy said, “I miss my life. I want my life back,” according to Sharon.

“It’s been really hard on him. But he’s getting there. He’ll be back,” she says.

Sharon also says that his touring life hasn’t ended, either.
