Halloween is over. It’s the first day of November. Of course, Christmas music is already here. Thankfully, not just any kind of Christmas music… Steve Perry holiday jams.

Last year, Steve Perry graced us with his version of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,’ and how could we not with Steve Perry serenading us?

This year, Steve Perry is blessing us with a cover of ‘Silver Bells.’

However, Perry admits he gave the Christmas classic an unexpected twist for a rock legend. Perry spiced up ‘Silver Bells’ with a little R&B flare. Nifty, right?

Oh, the goodies don’t end when the silver bells stop ringing… Perry released an updated recording of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’!

“The holidays are certainly a wonderful time of the year filled with many emotions,” said the former Journey singer according to UCR.

“I’m very happy to share with you one of my favorite holiday songs, ‘Silver Bells,’ but done with my love for R&B mixed in, along with a new remix of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.’ I hope it brings a smile to you and yours in this holiday season!”

While Perry has concluded his time with Journey, his solo journey is taking off. Perry’s 2018 solo album Traces rang in No. 6 on the Billboard 200. The famous rocker promises “more music to come, including Christmas music.”

There’s no doubt you’ll be blasting Perry’s Christmas tunes before Thanksgiving (it’s okay, we won’t tell anyone).
