Slash says he has hit a stride and it shows.

In a podcast, he says “Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators” is “probably the best overall tour” they’ve done.

The tour is being done in support of the group’s latest album, Living the Dream.

“We’ve finally reached a place where — [we’ve] hit a stride where people are familiar with the material, not waiting for us to do GUNS N’ ROSES songs, and so on and so forth,” Slash told the The “Marshall Podcast.”

He says the band is getting progressively better known as its work improves.
