A couple days ago I was telling someone how a band can make a lot of money from going on tours.

Otherwise, who would choose to be on the road for most of the year?

Take Guns N’ Roses’ tour.

Billboard is reporting the revenue from the band’s “Not in This Lifetime” tour.

The tour has covered six continents.

Fans have purchased 5,371,891 tickets for 158 shows.

The band is grossing $584.2 million for the tour.

The tour is already the third most successful tour of all time.

Guns N’ Roses has plenty of sold-out shows ahead for the tour’s fourth and final year.
