This is why we love the internet.

It’s KISS, man.  In 1973! Someone has found and uploaded what is believed to be the earliest known live performance footage of Kiss.

Shot in Queens, NY on Dec. 21, 1973, the concert took place at the Coventry, the same venue where Kiss made their live debut less earlier that year.

“We’re going to present a group to you that’s got an album coming out January 25th, Put your two limbs together. Ladies and gentlemen, Kiss, KISS, KISS!!”

The film is low quality, and in black and white. But you can clearly tell that Ace, Peter, Gene, and Paul are in full make-up and rocking out on “Deuce” and “Cold Gin,”.
