Van Halen fans, consider 2020 a lucky year! A pleasant spin on Van Halen’s classic ‘Runnin’ With the Devil’ has hit the digital world. The classic features David Lee Roth singing with Eddie Van Halen’s extended guitar solo.

The rendition was snagged from studio tape from 1977 sessions. The track was originally published by Youtuber Groovefunkel Second Helping. Ultimate Classic Rock points out the unheard version of ‘Dance the Night Away’ came from the same Youtuber.

When you listen, you can hear the band having fun. They love what they’re doing. Eddie Van Halen’s shredding on the guitar and the intensity of Roth resonates with the speakers. It’s a true beaut.

Not to mention Van Halen is on tour! So maybe, just maybe, you can see ‘Runnin With the Devil’ live in action.
