JJ Watt is hosting Saturday Night Live Feb. 1 — the same weekend as Super Bowl 54. JJ Watt, being an NFL player, couldn’t resist taking a crack at himself in the SNL teaser for the week, comparing his guest hosting to the big game.

JJ Watt is hosting alongside musical guest Luke Combs, whom Aidy Brant tries to relate to by “hanging with the big boys” in the latest SNL trailer. Things like football, beer and tractors — which, I guess, are all things that unite the big boys.

Aidy then expresses her excitement for this week, saying it’s something. Country singer Luke chimes in, saying it’s like his version of the Super Bowl.

Which, of course, causes JJ to chime in saying that it’s also like his Super Bowl — as his team, The Texans, didn’t qualify for the big game this year.

JJ Watt is the first NFL player to host SNL since Eli Manning hosted the show back in 2012.
