Marvel dropped the final trailer for “Black Widow” hitting theaters May 1. Let’s break down everything we know about the movie so far.

Long before Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) came to call the Avengers her family, she had one before. And in the new Marvel movie, “Black Widow,” we get to learn a little more about the mysterious Russian spy we’ve gotten to know and love over the years.

The movie is the first of Phase Four, but it doesn’t pick up where we left off in “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”

The movie takes place immediately after “Captain America: Civil War.” After the end of that movie, we don’t see Black Widow, Captain America or any of the “war criminals” (except for Ant-Man and Hawkeye, who agree to go on house arrest) until “Avengers: Infinity War.”

Of course, we’re dying to know what happened to all the heroes during this hiatus. And, apparently they were busy.

Long before she was an Avenger, Romanoff was an assassin trained in the Red Room. Now, the Red Room has a new leader.

Romanoff’s sister — also trained in the Red Room — warns Romanoff that this new leader, Taskmaster, is manipulating all of the recruits.

So, as you can guess: Black Widow is going to stop him.

In the trailer, the former Russian spy alludes to her past — saying she’s made a lot of enemies during that time. So, we have a feeling we are going to meet those enemies.
