Country-folk legend John Prine is in the hospital after coming down with COVID-19.
For a minute there, things weren’t looking too good. Prine was admitted into the hospital in critical condition. His wife, Fiona Prine posted to Twitter on Monday, reporting the singer was doing better.
I have recovered from Covid-19. We are humbled by the outpouring of love for me and John and our precious family. He is stabile. Please continue to send your amazing Love and prayers. Sing his songs. Stay home and wash hands. John loves you. I love you

The Prine family said John was checked into the hospital on Thursday after contracting the virus.

Coronavirus isn’t the only thing Prine has battled. The singer-songwriter has beat two rounds of cancer–one in 1997 and another in 2013.
Prine is absolutely unbeatable! And, hopefully, he will overcome the virus as well.
Perhaps while you’re at the sink washing your hands, hum a Prine tune to pass the time.
