On Wednesday May 19, Jon Bon Jovi performed his recent single called “Limitless” on the season final of The Voice. The virtual performance was a highlight during the season 18 finale which was full of classic rock performances from the contestants.

“Limitless” Performance

Bon Jovi brought some humor to the performance, as playing from the confines of your home has become the new “norm” for now. Bon Jovi took a sip from his red solo cup and proceeded to hand it past the camera. Telling the host of The Voice, Carson Daly, to “Hold this.” Continuing the fun, he held up a sign saying “I need a haircut.”

The track is off of their upcoming 2020 album called Bon Jovi: 2020. The release date had been pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is set to release in the fall of 2020. Catch his performance of another new single “Do What You Can,” on which he played during the Jersey 4 Jersey relief fund concert back in April.

In an interview with Howard Stern he explained why debuting the track during the COVID-19 relief concert was fitting. “I wrote a song about the situation that we’re in. So I’m gonna perform that in its entirety for the first time ever.”

The Voice season finale

The two-part finale of The Voice featured some awesome rock duets from the coaches and the contestant finalists.
