Andy’s KSL-TV #WhatToWatch: The ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ are back in a fresh new reboot
Andy Farnsworth joinsKSL-TVto help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of August 4, 2023. A fresh new (and highly enjoyable) reboot of “Teenage Mutant NinjaTurtles: Mutant Mayhem” leads this way 40 years after the original, with plenty of easter eggs for fans, and is very family-friendly. Another good choice is “Dreamin’ Wild,” a true story about two brothers who get a second chance at music fame thirty years after they thought their chance had passed. Unfortunately, the lead character in ‘Shortcomings’ hated himself so much that Andy finally gave in and agreed with him by the end. On streaming, “The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart” on Amazon Prime Video has Sigourney Weaver trying out an Australian accent in this drama based on a best-selling book dealing with heavy domestic violence themes. Fans of ‘Futurama’ are happy to have another season to enjoy on Hulu (yet again.) And while they didn’t screen the larger-than-life shark action comedy, “Meg 2: The Trench” is also heading to the big screen.
