Americans have shorter lifespans and poorer health even though we spend twice as much on healthcare than citizen of high income nations. In this episode of Utah Weekly Forum, Intermountain Healthcare Community Health Executive Director Lisa Nichols and Midtown Community Health Center Executive Director Ali Martinez join FM100.3’s Rebecca Cressman to outline a pilot program in Ogden and St. George called the Utah Alliance of the Determinants of Health that aims to address the social, environmental, and other non-medical factors that impact quality-of-life and overall health.
