“Thor: Ragnarok” Review; or “How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love ‘Asgardians of the Galaxy.’”

This week, Marvel’s God of Thunder returns for another big adventure in “Thor: Ragnarok,” and he brings even bigger laughs with him to the screen thanks to “Thor: Ragnarok” director, New Zealander, and comedic genius Taika Waititi.

But is that a good thing?

In this spoiler-free episode, Andy Farnsworth, Aaron Zundel and Tysen Webb are joined by former NFL linebacker and Super Bowl winner Jason Buck, who’s been a Thor expert, fanatic, and comic collector since childhood.

Together we talk the new movie, humor, how all these new laughs do or do not serve the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and how and why The God of Thunder seems to be the brunt of the best jokes in his own movies.

“Thor: Ragnarok” stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Mark Ruffalo as Banner/Hulk, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster.
