Van Halen has announced that they will be hitting the road this summer in support of their new live album Tokyo Dome Live in Concert. The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band will serve as the opening act on all dates for the upcoming tour, which kicks off July 5 in Seattle, Washington at the White River Amphitheatre. Van Halen will also make stops in Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa, Dallas and Los Angeles on the tour. The band will head north of the border and venture into Canada for a pair of dates, August 5 in London, Ontario at Western Fair District and August 7 in Toronto, Ontario at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. Tokyo Dome Live in Concert, which features original frontman David Lee Roth includes 23 songs from the seven albums the band recorded with Roth.
