KISS have teamed up with the Scooby Doo crew for a new animated movie called Scooby-Doo! and Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery. The film will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD on July 10 and will feature KISS members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer voicing their animated characters. The cartoon feature is not the only recent foray into the film world for KISS, however, as Simmons is also connected with WWE for a new series of horror features. The team have formed their own production company called Erebus Pictures that will finance and produce “elevated horror movies,” according to a press release. Three films are already in the works for Erebus Pictures. The first film, Temple, written by Matt Savelloni, will start shooting this summer. “The horror genre continues to fascinate me as it proves to be endlessly thrilling and engaging for audiences,” Simmons said in a statement.
