Billy Joel and Elton John have reportedly smoothed things over after several years of bitter media feuding. Billy opened up about the dust up to Entertainment Weekly and says they actually patched things up ages ago. “We made up a long time ago,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “We sat down and I was like, ‘Don’t throw your friends under the bus.'” The feud kicked off in 2011 after Elton told Rolling Stone that Billy was “coasting” and that his drinking problem had overtaken his work life: “He does that with everybody,” Joel continued. “He runs off at the mouth and regrets it later . . .
