Record chain Amoeba Music unearthed a rare test pressing of Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks – one of just five known copies – and has put it on the market for $12,000. According to the L.A. shop owners, it’s the “most expensive piece Amoeba has ever had for sale.” The so-called “New York” pressing features alternate takes on five songs – “Tangled Up in Blue,” “You’re a Big Girl,” “Idiot Wind,” “Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts” and “If You See Her, Say Hello” – originally recorded in New York, before Dylan, at the advice of his brother, re-recorded the album version tracks in Minnesota. Blood on the Tracks wound up reaching number one on the charts in the U.S. and getting double platinum certification from the RIAA. Copyright(c) 2015 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
