Steven Tyler along with his country backing band Loving Mary have been announced as the headliners at the upcoming Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, Tennessee, which is roughly 30 miles south of Nashville. The fest takes place from September 26-27. “Nashville is a musical mecca,” Tyler notes, “and there is no way I would’ve missed performing at the Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival.” The fest, organized by Better Than Ezra’s Kevin Griffin, features a full spectrum of musical genres. Other acts lined up for the fest include Willie Nelson, Wilco, Sheryl Crow, Band of Horses, Jimmy Cliff, and many more. Tyler’s recently released “Love Is Your Name,” the first single off his upcoming solo country record. The track peaked at number 19 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
