R40 Live was filmed during two shows the band played at the Air Canada Centre in their hometown of Toronto last summer. The cover art for R40 Live was shot by Major League Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Randy Johnson, and features Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson standing on Neil Peart’s drum riser.
