Lynyrd Skynyrd co-founder Gary Rossington has announced a new solo album, Take It on Faith, the debut from his Rossington side project. The project, produced by David Z, finds Rossington working with his wife Dale as well as former Little Feat member Richie Hayward, who died in 2010. “Right now, we consider it a gift to the fans. We did it for them, and I hope they like it,” Rossington said in a press release. “They asked us to do something again, so we did it. We seized that opportunity, and ran with it. And we’re real excited it’s finally coming out.” Take It On Faith will be released on November 4.
