The list of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees for 2017 has been published. Among the astounding list of iconic artists, San Francisco rock group Journey has made the cut. The Hall of Fame voting body consists of over 800 artists, historians, and music insiders. However, now for the fifth year in a row, fans will also have a say of who gets inducted into the Hall of Fame. The fans can cast their vote on Rolling Stone’s website. To be eligible, artists must have released their first album or single in 1991 or earlier. Other artists nominated include Pearl Jam, Janet Jackson, The Zombies, Joan Baez, Bad Brains and MC5 to name but a few. Fans have from now until December 6 to cast their votes.
