Elton John has revealed that he will co-write the new musical version of the hit film The Devil Wears Prada. The project will serve as an adaptation of both the 2003 novel and the 2006 film and will find Elton collaborating with writer Paul Rudnick. Thus far few other details have been confirmed about the project. Sir Elton also made recent headlines with the news that he was reportedly paid almost four million dollars for a recent performance at the wedding of a Russian oligarch’s granddaughter. Mariah Carey also gave a performance at the union of Irene Kogan and Daniel Kenvey. The event was held at London’s Landmark Hotel and was bank rolled by Irene’s grandad, Russian businessman Valery Kogan.
