Ringo Starr has released his new track “Now The Time Has Come” as a free download. The track initially appeared in September as part of the International Day of Peace celebration and this marks the first official release for the track. The track urges a message of hope and reconciliation and comes just days before hundreds of thousands across the country will march in protest to the inauguration of Donald Trump. The uplifting lyrics include: “Now the time has come/Time has come for everyone/To lay down all your guns/And let the light of love shine on and on.” Two versions of the track are currently available-one featuring Starr alongside Richard Page, Colin Hay and Billy Valentine, and another with Latin artist Fonseca.
