The cult classic film series titled The Decline of Western Civilization, featuring music and appearances by Aerosmith, is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray this summer. The three-part documentary focuses on the punk, rock and metal scenes in and around Los Angeles from the early 1980s through the 1990s. The series was directed by Penelope Spheeris.More »


Steve Jobs Blasted Neil Young Over ITunes Statements


The late Steve Jobs was not much of a Neil Young fan, as the famed Apple chief reveals in a new biography. Young had routinely spoken out about his distaste for Apple and their iTunes music platform, which the rock legends has argued propagates poor audio quality. Lynyrd Skynyrd Sweet Home Alabama Live Album Due Out In June


Lynyrd Skynyrd will release a new live album, Sweet Home Alabama, this summer. Sweet Home Alabama was recorded during the band’s appearance on German music program Rockpalast in 1996. In addition to the show, the new reissue includes three songs (“Workin’ for MCA, “Free Bird” and “Sweet Home Alabama”) recorded at the Hamburg Musikhalle on December 5, 1974.More »


David Crosby Hits And Injuries Jogger With Tesla


David Crosby recently hit and injured a jogger with his 2015 black Tesla electric car in Southern California on Sunday, March 22. The 46-year-old jogger, Jose Jimenez, who was struck with the 73-year-old classic rocker’s car was airlifted to the Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara after the incident happened. When the jogger was hit he was “propelled” forward by the car.More »
